Creating a RC car with ESP32 and TAMIYA’s BUGGY CAR CHASSIS SET (Part 2: Pairing a PS3 controller with ESP32)

Get the Mac address of Blue Tooth on ESP32

First, we need to get the Mac address of the ESP32’s Blue Tooth so that the PS3 controller can find the ESP32.

I have used this sitethis site as a reference. There are two points to note

Set “Upload Speed” to 115200.
It can be set by Tool bar > Tool > “Upload Speed”
Set “Flash Size” to 16 MB(Max value of all).
It can be set by Tool bar > Tool > “Flash Size”.

Confirm that the Bluetooth Mac address has been successfully obtained via serial communication.

I will give the ESP32 Mac address to the PS3 controller with reference to this site .

Referring to this site, I confirmed that ESP32 is receiving input from the PS3 controller via serial monitor.
