Build a multi-legged robot!

After watching the following video, I was inspired to build my own multi-legged robot.

It’s a robot, but it moves like a living creature, which is weird! (That’s a compliment.)
I was curious about what kind of algorithm could make it look like a living creature, and that was another motivation for wanting to make it.

As for the hardware, it seems that 3 servo motors are used per leg, so 18 servo motors are needed in total for 6 legs.

But there is a problem. Looking at other examples of multi-legged robots (such as this assembly kit), even the cheapest ones seem to use MG996R servo motors, which cost about $6.5 per unit on Amazon, so if you want 18 units, the servo motors alone will cost \30,600/18 units. This means that if you want to get 18 servo motors, it will cost $117 per 18 servo motors! Wouldn’t it be cheaper to buy an assembly kit only to get the servo motors?

Since the hurdle has suddenly been raised in terms of cost, I would like to consider whether it is possible to make it cheaper! If we can make it cheaper, there should be a demand!
So, I would like to try to make a multi-legged robot using SG90 servo motors, which are inexpensive and well-known in the field of electronic construction. There is a risk of not having enough torque, but in that case, I think I can manage it by reducing the weight by not mounting the power supply on the main body.
